THE GALLERY

Liberatory Art. Cultural Memory. Visual Resistance.

Teach Between the Lines is a visual studio where art, history, and education converge. Our gallery features original digital artwork, educational poster collections, and limited edition visual narratives designed to transform classrooms, offices, and learning spaces into sites of cultural affirmation, inquiry, and truth-telling.

Each piece is rooted in historical consciousness, cultural memory, and the belief that imagery is never neutral — it either reinforces dominant narratives or disrupts them. We design in the service of disruption.

What Lives Here

This gallery is home to a growing body of visual work created at the intersection of Black history, cultural theory, education, and resistance art traditions. Every collection is intentionally crafted to spark dialogue, affirm identity, and restore narrative authority to communities too often erased or misrepresented. Our work draws from liberation movements, historical archives, Afrofuturist design, protest art, classroom pedagogy, and contemporary social critique — blending visual beauty with intellectual rigor.

The Work

Each collection emerges from a deep research and design process — combining historical scholarship, curriculum theory, visual storytelling, and cultural analysis. These are not decorative pieces. They are teaching tools, cultural artifacts, and acts of resistance.

Our work lives in classrooms, libraries, offices, homes, and community spaces — wherever learning, reflection, and truth matter.

We design visuals that ask better questions, provoke necessary discomfort, and open space for courageous thinking.

Why Visuals Matter

In a world shaped by images, visual literacy is a form of power. What students see shapes what they believe is possible. What hangs on classroom walls becomes part of the curriculum.

Our gallery exists to shift that visual environment — replacing silence with story, erasure with affirmation, and compliance with consciousness.

Because representation alone is not enough. Our work is about interpretation, interrogation, and imagination.
